I live in a beautiful village about 20 miles north of Glasgow in the heart of the Trossachs with about three or four hundred other “locals”. It’s a great and diverse community and we’re lucky enough to have a small bunch of dedicated and persistent characters living amongst us who have given up inordinate amounts to time, refused to be defeated in the face of huge set-backs and worked flat out for the last 4 and a bit years to deliver to the rest of us a spanking shiny new Village Hall.
We all came together at the weekend to celebrate and thought a village “selfie” would be a good way to finish the afternoon and mark the day. A tele-handler with a man-basket attached to the forks was loaned from Gartmore House, the rain stayed away and the people waved!

I’m photographing the first wedding in the new Hall next weekend. I think it’s going to be a popular venue to tie the knot!
